Diamonds scarf

When I learned about the brioche technique, it was a revelation for me. I always liked two-color patterns, but this is totally different. It's a whole universe. If you knit the scarf and have leftover yarn, you're going to end-up like me, and knit also the Diamonds hat.
And here's the pattern up-close:
Cast-on a multiple of 12 + 1 (symmetry) + 2(edge)
Row 1: k1, *sl1yo, k1; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34: sl1 wyif, *brp1, sl1yo; rep from *, brp1, sl1 wyif
Row 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35: k1, *sl1yo, brp1; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36: sl1 wyib *brk1, sl1yo; rep from *, brk1, sl1 wyib
Row 5: k1, *sl1yo, brLsl, [sl1yo, brk1] 3 times, sl1yo, brkyobrk; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 9: k1, *sl1yo, brLsl, [sl1yo, brk1] 2 times, sl1yo, brkyobrk, sl1yo, brk1; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 13: k1, *sl1yo, brLsl, sl1yo, brk1, sl1yo, brkyobrk, [sl1yo, brk1] 2 times; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 17: k1, *sl1yo, brLsl, sl1yo, brkyobrk, [sl1yo, brk1] 3 times; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 21: k1, *sl1yo, brkyobrk, [sl1yo, brk1] 3 times, sl1yo, brRsl; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 25: k1, *sl1yo, brk1, sl1yo, brkyobrk, [sl1yo, brk1] 2 times, sl1yo, brRsl; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 29: k1, *[sl1yo, brk1] 2 times, sl1yo, brkyobrk, sl1yo, brk1, sl1yo, brRsl; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Row 33: k1, *[sl1yo, brk1] 3 times, sl1yo, brkyobrk, sl1yo, brRsl; rep from *, sl1yo, sl1 wyif
Repeat only rows 5-36

Abbreviations:
k - knit
brk - brioche knit
brp - brioche purl
sl1yo - slip 1 with yarn over needle
sl1 wyib - slip 1 purlwise with yarn in back
sl1 wyif - slip 1 purlwise with yarn in front
brkyobrk - brioche knit, yarn over, brioche knit (that in the next row will be knitted as sl1yo, p1, sl1yo)
brLsl - brioche left slant decrease
brRsl - brioche right slant decrease
In the picture above you can see the scarf that I knit in the brioche technique. I did 4 repeats of the pattern, so I have cast-on 51 stitches.
It is reversible, and that's what I love the most in brioche. You get not 1 but 2 garments at once!!!

Очень понравилось. А можно ли в такой технике связать плед? На сколько это практично?

I liked it so much. I would like to ask you if it will be good for kid's blanket.

Конечно можно!! Думаю не должно быть проблем в носке и весь фокус в том что по сути будут 2 пледа разных цветов.

I think it would be great for a baby blanket. And the trick is that you will actually have 2 blankets in different colors.
